A New Challenge Blog Coming Your Way

 I'm starting a NEW sketch challenge blog named Poppy Sketches! The sketches will no longer be on my personal blog, they will have their own home that will go live March 31st. I am so excited to be back in scrappy land and running a challenge blog just felt right. 

A lot of you remember the sketch challenge blog 2 Sketches 4 You that I use to co own, we had a lot of fun at 2S4Y and continuing it at Poppy Sketches is the plan. 

Poppy Sketches launches March 31st and will be a bi-weekly sketch challenge, complete with sponsors prizes for challenge winners. We have a fabulously talented design team that I adore, let me introduce...

I found a new challenge blog, I love me a good challenge blog, The Card Concept! The challenge today is to use a floral theme. I adore all flowers so this one was easy for me, I made a dainty baby girl card, using a Shabby Chic look. Thanks for the new inspiration The Card Concept!

Congrats

The Color Throwdown always seems to spark my creativity. This is such a stunning color pallet, half the fun is searching through my paper stash looking for the perfect colors to match. I really enjoyed making this card. Thank you for the inspiration ladies and happy weekend!

Save the Date

How yummy is this Cure for the Monday Blues #5 inspiration photo?? This clean "frame it" photo gave me so much inspiration I could have made 10 cads from it. My Save the Date card has a hidden message behind it... I will be announcing some BIG news soon! I wish I could give you a date, but it's soon.

I have a huge smile on my face this morning because I have a big announcement. I have been chosen to be on the CutCardStock design team. Congrats to Lee Ann and Christy the other new girls, and returning team members, Pinky, Jamie and Amber!

 I am soooo excited to be designing again and for a card stock  manufacturer....lets just say I'm in cardstock heaven! Here is a card I designed using a CutCardStock Neenah Classic Linen Invitations (natural white, pre scored) Pre folded cards make card making a breeze. Thank you CutCardStock!!

Butterfly

Good Monday morning and happy President's Day! A new challenge is up at the Fusion blog and it's fluttering with butterflies, once again butterflies are hugely popular in the scrap world. My card reminds me of March, bring on spring, warmer weather, and lots of beautiful butterflies. Thanks for the inspiration Fusion!

It's Wednesday and heres  Cure for the Monday Blues Challenge #3 and it's pattern-tastic! I loved this image the second I saw it but pulling a card out of it was a little bit harder. I think I was thinking to hard...I just had to simplify things.  Here's to great inspiration and a challenge!
