Goodbye to 2S4Y

After a lot of debate my business partner Kazan and I have decided to call it quits at 2S4Y to venture out with different opportunities! We had two wonderful years of pure inspiration. I want to thank all of our fans and followers we wouldn't had as much success without each and every single one of you. Thank you!

Special Thanks

I want to put out a special thank you to my friend and business partner Kazan for substituting for me at 2S4Y this week. Swinging two weeks in a row isn't easy and I appreciate it VERY much, Thank you Kazan! We are moving into a new house this week so I am up to my ears in boxes, cleaning, painting, etc. Here is a card I made using Starving Artistamps, Juniper and Jupiter's Exterior Elements.

A new sketch is up at 2S4Y! The sponsor this week is Scor-it. I used my Scor board to scor lines into the design of my card. I also used my new Copic Markers on my adorable little elephant from Doodle Factory. I received my Copics from my dear friend Kazan for my birthday. I can honestly say I'm addicted... I love my Copics!

I decided to use the ever so talented Kazan's sketch 32 from 2S4Y this week for my BBTB card! Kazan's sketch inspiring and simple, one I will defiantly use again!

The challenge at BBTB was to use the Snowflake cut from the Accent Essentials cart. A little Christmas in the summer for ya :)

A new sketch is up at 2 Sketches 4 You! 

This week we have an awesome sponsor... Scor-it!
Kazan and I asked our designers to use their Scor-it to make 

their cards this week and give a tutorial on their blogs. 

Here is my card and tutorial.

My Tutorial

*Laura's Pocket Card*

• Cut a piece of solid cardstock to 5 1/2" x 11". 

• Scor at 1/2" on side edges.

• Scor directly in the middle.

• Fold in half and fold each 1/2" Scor in, glue each edge.

• Punch a half circle on each end of pocket  

• Create a card to fit inside the pocket.        

• Decorate!

Being Together

When I saw Kazan's sketch at 2S4Y I just had to play along! For this card I used a clear card from Short Cuts! I love this look, and so fun to work with. I also used the wedding cake stamp from DeNami Design . Oh yes and one of my favorite products from Sakura of America the Jelly Roll Metallics.  You will be seeing more of Sakura of America, Short Cuts & DeNami Designs at 2S4Y real soon;) So stay tuned!
