Day #3
Day #3 of What I Love: Card Making
I started scrapbooking 12 years ago when my daughter was just a little baby. The passion grew into the love of card making. Receiving a handmade card in the mail is so special. I have been so inspired by all of the talent out there and challenged with the occasional card blog challenge. I made this card for a recent card challenge over at Bety's blog: Iralamija. Bety is so super talented, her work is absolutely stunning.
The card is for my almost 13 year old daughter Claudia. The card is accordion style and opens up to give the reasons why I love her. The card also matches a little mailbox I altered. I plan on filling the mailbox with goodies and surprising her on Valentine's Day. You can see all of my card creations at my other blog The Paper Poppy.

Day #2
Day #2 of What I Love: Golf
Our family is a little obsessed about the sport. We all play, my daughter plays competitively year round. Claudia is currently #1 in the state in her age group. In our house the golf channel is on 24- 7. This week the major tournaments are the FBR Open ( a fun rowdy tournament.) Who said golf was boring to watch? Also the Dubai Classic, Ugh, which do you watch? I plan on playing a lot more golf this season and actually keeping a handicap. I can play well when I practice, It's just hard finding the time to practice. :) My daughter Claudia is so brutally honest when we play together, "Mom get your game together you are embarrassing me!" Thanks sweetie:) Let me remind you, I do not get lessons, and you do. But in the end we have lots of fun.
What's in my bag:
Driver- Callaway FT3, with a pink shaft, of course.
Woods- Taylormade V-steel 5 wood
Irons- Taylormade Rac OS
Wedges- Titleist Vokey Spin Milled
Putter- Odyssey White Hot 2ball

Day #1
Happy February 1st! I love February. Spring is coming soon, my daughters birthday is this month and Valentine's Day. I thought I would dedicate the next two weeks leading up to Valentines Day, to 14 things I love. :)
Day #1 of What I Love: My iPhone
I love, love, love, my iPhone. My husband gave me one for Christmas this year. I'm hooked the phone is amazing. My little phone is hacked, meaning I have tons of third party applications. I can do lots of cool thing with my phone like, change the slider to say Laura's iPhone, install lots of different themes, change the color of my text messaging bubbles etc... My favorite feature on the phone is the internet. I love to browse, I can even blog on my phone:) Thankfully my husband is a computer engineer and use to work for Apple so I have the inside scoop. Later this month Apple is releasing SDK software development kit which will mean a large range of programs coming out for the "unhacked" iPhone.
