The Color Throwdown challenge caught my eye this week. At first I wasn't sure about this color combo but I really like it now. Its good to come out of your comfort zone everyone in a while.
Friends are so important to have, and I truly am thankful for the friendships I have built in this industry. Just recently two of my scrappy friends celebrated their birthdays.
I love when I can add my personal touch to a simple little gift.
These little homemade tags make these rose bushes pop, making them special and unique.
I'm hopping around to all my favorite challenge blogs, and having so much fun! Here is a CAS card for CAS-ual Fridays challenge to create a CAS card, using kraft, flowers, and twine. Thanks for the inspiration CAS-ual Fridays!
The Curtain Call has a fabulous inspiration challenge going on right now, and I had to play along. I am finally breaking my red/pink and blue color combination streak. I wanted to thank everyone for all the well wishes coming back into the scrappy world, it feels amazing to be creative again!
I love working with sketches, but it makes me miss my own challenge blog Poppy Sketches. This sketch was so easy to work with and gave me tons of inspiration, thank you Fusion Challenge Blog. Again I'm using blue and pink, lol. These colors are just meant to be together.
My blue in my card looks a little dark but it is a pretty navy, I promise.
Happy Tuesday, I seem to be on a roll with red/pink and blue cards. I guess the colors are just speaking to me. I chose these two colors red and blue from the Runway Inspired Jeremy Scott image, along with the linear image of the model to design my birthday card. What a fun challenge blog, I'll be back for sure for some more runway inspiration!
I managed to squeeze in some scrap time in between my husbands birthday, my daughter coming home from college for a quick visit, and watching the Masters golf tournament this weekend. This card is for Virginia's View Challenge the inspiration is cards with dimension, lovely layers, textures and embellishments.
It's been awhile since I have created, but I recently got the itch after cleaning out studio. The Curtain Call challenge blog caught my eye with their most recent challenge so here is my entry.
Thank you for the Beginnings inspiration Curtain Call!
