Stampendous Daisies & A Sketch Challenge!

Today I am so excited to be hosting my very own sketch challenge, sponsored by the ever so fabulous Stampendous Stamps!

The Rules:

Create a card based off my sketch shown here. You may use this sketch loosely or as close to it as you want. Using Stampendous Stamps to create your card is also a bonus, just saying ;) although you are not required to use Stampendous Stamps for this sketch challenge. For my card I used the Stampendous Perfectly Clear Daisy Stem Stamp. This stamp is so pretty. I colored the image with Copic markers and the carefully cut it out. I then pop dotted the image so it would stand out on my card.

Stampendous Friends

Stampendous Friends are essential in life. Friends are always there for you, through your ups and downs. I tried to capture how special friends really are in this LO of my daughter and her dear friend using the Perfectly Clear, Narcissus stamp from Stampendous. This might be my favorite Stampendous stamp, it is so elegant, and striking. I love the boldness of this stamp, but it is also soft and delicate. To put an extra special twist on this already stampendous stamp I double stamped the image then popped out the center flower to give it more dimension. This is a easy stamping technique.

"Every day holds the possibility of a miracle"

Spring is here. This time of year is for new beginnings, new life, a new fresh perspective on our daily happenings. Miracles are all around us and spring is the perfect time of year to reflect an all the fullness in our lives.

Here is a spring gift box I made assembling it all with my trusty Glue Dots®. I tucked in a freshly baked mini loaf of banana bread for a special treat.

A Stampendous Love

A mother's love is "Stampendous"! I fell in love with this stamp the second I saw it. I adore elephants and this mama elephant snuggling her baby is just precious. This fabulous Stampendous stamp is perfect for paper piecing. This stamping technique is easy and fun and makes your stamps pop!.

To paper piece you simply pick out different patterned papers, and colored cardstocks. You then stamp your image onto each of your different mediums, carefully cutting out and placing or "piecing" your image together to give a demential look with all the different papers. I also used Copic markers on the mama elephant stamp and pop dots to give some more depth to the stamp. Paper piecing is easy and fun and gives that "wow" look to your projects. I think this card would be perfect for a new mother, or the perfect Happy Mother's Day card.

Glue Dots • Candlestick Fix

Do you ever have trouble with getting your long candlesticks to stay in place in their holders? I have battled with this for years and have finally found the solution, Glue Dots®!
