Brand New Ribbon Carousel

Hey everyone! Today is a big day at RibbonCarousel.com. We are debuting the Brand New Ribbon Carousel^© today and, of course, doing a giveaway on our Blog too! Here are the details:

The Ribbon Carousel^©is made out of White Marine Board Plastic (High Density Polyethylene), giving it a textured top with smooth scrolled edges. Each Carousel comes with 8 Clear Acrylic rods allowing for many different configurations. You can use it as a 4, 5, 6 or 8 post Carousel, depending upon your individual needs.

The Ribbon Carousel^© holds up to 60 rolls of 3/8" ribbon using 4 rods, 40 Wooden Spools or 16 spools of your favorite Baker's Twine using 8 rods. It SPINS around on a lazy susan, allowing you to access your ribbon and twine easily! This easy-to-use organizer is compact, with a footprint less than 7" square on your workspace. The Ribbon Carousel^© holds ribbon spools of any size up to a 4" diameter. Minimal assembly required.

To use: Simply unscrew the knob on top of the Ribbon Carousel^©. Remove the top and place your spools on the posts as desired. Replace the top by lining up the rods to the holes in the underside of the top. Replace the knob to secure the Ribbon Carousel.

Specifications: Each Ribbon Carousel is approximately 6.85" square and 13.5" tall. The manufacturing and assembly of each Ribbon Carousel^© is in Washington State, USA.

For my card, I made a non-traditional Valentine! I used teal, black, white and craft...Yum! I used my newest addiction Vintage Seam Binding, from the Ribbon Carousel...oh my goodness I could bathe in this ribbon. In my card I used Blue Peacock. Oh it's so beautiful!

The creative blogging community iscoming together this weekend to help one of our friends, Julie Ranae. You may know her as the Design TeamCoordinator for many wonderful companies from bakers twine, die cuts, rubberstamps and more. What many peopledon’t know about Julie Ranae is that she has had some pretty major dentalsurgeries in her lifetime due to medication she had to take as a child. It was in her plans to think abouthaving all of her teeth replacedat some point in the next 5 years, a decision that was pretty easy to planout. But then it happened…she chipped her front teeth on aweekend a month ago. The dentist told her there was no way to save them &that it was his recommendation that she give in and have them all her teethremoved soon, but for that day, they needed to get her front teeth done so hergums could begin to heal. He said he would 'workout payments with her to have ALL this work done...but when she calledto make her appt for the first step of impressions, they told her the amount ofmoney that was needed and that the 'payments'applied only to the two teeth that were extracted that day. Her husbandPaul was with her & that too, was his understanding as well. So this is howshe has found herself in this situation…Needing at least $4000 to get startedand another $3000 to finish the process…a total of $7000.

It's the first Saturday of the month, and that means it's time again for a new challenge with the Stampendous team! This month, to kick thing off and celebrate World Card Making Day, we are looking towards the holidays AND trying to keep it Clean and Simple. That's right - we are making Clean and Simple (CAS) holiday cards!! You'll see a few team members showing off more than one card today; some chose to make one CAS and then take that design and showcase how to "step it up". Others chose to make sets of CAS holiday cards that could be given as gifts or used to make a dent in the Christmas card list.

A Stampendous Birthday Tag

Tags are a special and fun way to spruce up any package. Here is a Stampendous Birthday Tag I made for a special "one" year old. For this tag I used the Stampendous Perfectly Clear, Clear Block Art Beautiflowers. I paper pieced this adorable stamp, pop dotted the center and leaves of the flower, then put a sparkly dot in the center. Creating with Stampendous stamps is so fun and easy.

Stampendous Friendship

Every once in a while it is a good thing to let your dear friends know how much you appreciate them. A homemade card can speak volumes. Here is a heartfelt card that was totally inspired by the striking color of Stampendous embossing powder, Blue Tinsel. I could sit and stare into this color all day, it is so bright, sparkly, and beautiful!
